Stanzas I – IV

During weekly meetings of the Blavatsky Lodge of the Theosophical Society in London, HP Blavatsky answered many questions about the Stanzas of Dzyan. Her answers shed light on a number of important aspects of the teachings, which are difficult for students and those interested.

Because the members of the Blavatsky Lodge felt that these meetings would be valuable to other readers of her books, they recorded the questions and answers and published them in a somewhat abbreviated form.

The first four Stanzas discussed here concern such subjects as the origin of the cosmos, the universal mind, the inner nature of man, the mystery of Fohat, the relation of consciousness to substance, religious symbolism, and the evolution of worlds and of man.

The appendix on dreams is also particularly valuable.

This Commentary provides a stimulating guide for all interested in the Secret Doctrine.
