Verslag W.Q. Judge Herdenkingsbijeenkomst
On March 21, 1996, it was a hundred years ago that William Quan Judge died. He was one of the closest associates of HP Blavatsky and one of the co-founders of The Theosophical Society in 1875 in New York.
For many years he has done pioneering work in making theosophical ideas understandable and in order to make his unique way of working better known, theosophical organisations in the Netherlands jointly organised a commemorative meeting on Saturday 16 March 1996 with the theme:
In the footsteps of HP Blavatsky:
The Current Affairs of William Quan Judge
As the theme of the day shows, the emphasis was not so much on passive remembrance. The attention was much more focused on what William Quan Judge can mean for Theosophists, and for seekers of Truth in general, today.
