Is er leven op andere planeten?
Who hasn't looked up at the night sky and wondered if there could be life on other planets? For a truly well-functioning vision, a number of essential questions must first be answered. For example, what life actually is. Or how the universe came into being and is maintained.
This booklet explains the nature, composition and structure of the planets and their inhabitants. The concept of evolution is central. Evolution in its true meaning and placed in a grand cosmic context. The word evolution is derived from the Latin 'evolvere' which means to unfold or unroll what is already present internally. This booklet not only addresses the visible and measurable, but especially the processes that take place in internal worlds that we cannot perceive with our limited senses and technologies.
The compilers of this booklet, members of a study group of the ISIS Foundation, have drawn on the knowledge offered by Theosophy in their research. ISIS stands for International Study-centre for Independent Search for truth.
The aim of the Foundation is to form a nucleus of Universal Brotherhood by studying and spreading knowledge about the spiritual background of man and the cosmos, free from dogma.
The Foundation attempts to achieve this through courses, lectures, support for fact-finding, publishing, selling and lending books and magazines, and encouraging the practical application of that knowledge.
The ISIS Foundation is closely associated with The Theosophical Society (Point Loma – Blavatskyhouse The Hague).
