Mahatma Brieven aan A.P. Sinnett, De

25,00

These letters, first published in 1923, were written between 1880 and 1884 to A.P. Sinnett, Allahabad, editor of The Pioneer, then a leading newspaper in the former British India. They were written in the English language by the two Mahatmas, whom H.P. Blavatsky called her teachers and inspirers of her Isis Unveiled and The Secret Doctrine.
The original manuscripts, signed with the initials M. and KH, are now held in The British Library in London.
These unusual documents, which deal extensively with cosmology and the development of the human race, not only offer far-reaching ideas in religious and scientific fields (which have since been shown to be highly prophetic), but also deal with matters of great practical value and display a warm humanity and sense of humor that is heartening.
Many current but untrue ideas, which owe their origin to the fertile imagination of pseudo-occultists, are refuted by the sound and humane approach to the laws of nature; and serious thinkers, not satisfied with orthodox views, will find in these letters a far more satisfactory explanation of the truths underlying the great religions.
